Description |
The part used is the flowers. Derivatives: the flowers are extracted with petroleum ether to yield a concrete, which in turn gives an absolute after alcohol extraction. The enfleurage method or infusion processes have also been used. |

The absolute contains (as% of volatiles) linolenic acid 17.4%, linoleic acid 8.7, palmitic acid 8.6, β-ionone, oleic acid 7.0, dihydro-β-ionone 6.4, ethyl linolenate 6.3, (+)-decan-4-olide 4.0, ethylpalmitate 3.4, ethyl linoleate 3.1, dihdro-β-inol 3.0 and others. |
