Chemical Properties	Anisyl acetate has a floral, fruit-like odor (pleasant, vanilla, plum, lilac) and a slight pungent, sweet taste.
Uses	Perfumery, flavoring.
Preparation	May be prepared by the reaction of anisic alcohol with acetic anhydride
