Exploring the Source, Discussing the Future of the Industry
In August, Yunnan is lush and scenic, a perfect season for the fragrance of mushrooms and herbs. At the kind invitation of Chairman Wang Chunhua of Yunnan Emerald Essence Ltd, a delegation of two from ODOWELL, led by the General Manager, visited Chuxiong, Kunming, and other locations in Yunnan for a three-day field inspection and exchange from August 4th to 6th.
Visiting Mouding: Feeling the Industry Pulse
The most impressive moment was touring the Mouding factory of Yunnan Yunxiang Green Treasure Biotechnology Co., Ltd. From raw material intake to finished product shipment, the fully automated production lines were truly eye-opening. Particularly notable was the quality control process, where the factory applies multiple rigorous inspection standards, making companies like us who manufacture end products deeply appreciate the importance of raw material quality.
The itinerary on the 5th was full of surprises. At the geranium base in Dayao County, vast green plants blossomed under the sun, with workers harvesting fresh leaves. The base manager explained that eco-friendly cultivation methods are used here to ensure the raw materials are purely natural. In the rose base, dark red roses bloomed beautifully, filling the air with a captivating fragrance.
The afternoon visit to Guanglu Ancient Town added a touch of leisure to the intensive inspection schedule. Strolling along the blue stone-paved roads, admiring the well-preserved Ming and Qing dynasty architecture, and listening to local elders share stories about caravan trade offered us a deeper understanding of the spice culture nurtured by this land.
On the morning of the 6th, we arrived at the Songming Yanglin Economic Development Zone. The Emerald Essence factory in Songming showcased what a “big factory style” really means — equipment purchased 20 years ago for 6,000,000 USD is still operating efficiently. The eucalyptus oil product line has even obtained EU eGMP workshop certification.
